DAVIDSON, N.C.,None — The voters have spoken, and after nearly 1.2 million votes, WSOC-TV is headed to Davidson Day at Charlotte Latin for the Game of the Week on Friday night.
The match-up features a battle of two high-powered teams that are both having great seasons.
Davidson Day (8-0) is undefeated in its inaugural year playing varsity football.
Charlotte Latin (7-2) will look to slow down the potent Davidson Day offense that is averaging 50 points per game this season.
Latin has a great defense and has only allowed 12 points per game this season. Something has got to give on Friday night.
This game features Latin senior kicker and Channel 9 "Big 22" player of the year finalist Paul Griggs.
