CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person was injured Friday when the roof of an indoor batting facility collapsed on the campus of UNC Charlotte, a school official said.

The building on Phillips Road near the baseball stadium was under construction.
Channel 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene, where it appears that trusses fell into the building.
School officials said the person injured was not a student. They couldn't say if it was a construction worker.
