CHARLOTTE, N.C. — About 2,400 gallons of sewage overflowed into Coffee Creek in the Catawba River watershed, officials said Saturday.

A grease blockage caused the overflow near 700 Yorkdale Road near South Tryon Street in southwest Charlotte.
