2 war veterans reunite after 70 years apart

Laurens County — Two South Carolina war veterans who hadn’t seen each other in 70 years had a touching reunion.

They reunited in Laurens County.

They met while serving in the Korean War and they are two of only three marines from their platoon who made it home.

There is no word yet about their plans to meet up again in the future.
