UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Officials in Union County said three people were hurt and one of them was airlifted to the hospital after a serious crash Wednesday.

Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the accident which appeared to involve a dump truck at Lawyers Road at Indian Trail Fairview Road around 11:30 a.m.
Emergency personnel said two people were taken to the hospital on the ground and another was flown there by helicopter.
No other details were released about what caused the crash.
