CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting sent three people to the hospital early Sunday morning following a party in east Charlotte, police said.
Officials said the shooting happened at SMS Catering Service on Norland Road around 1:53 a.m.

The business was rented out to a promoter who was hosting a party. Chaos erupted in the street and surrounding neighborhood as soon as the party was ending, police said.
Officials said two women and one man were shot. The female victims were sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, though the man was seriously hurt.
This is an ongoing investigation and no arrests have been made.
