9-year-old with autism found safe after vanishing from SC summer camp

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities said a 9-year-old boy with autism was found safe after vanishing Thursday evening from a South Carolina YMCA Camp.

Matthew Yarborough was reported missing around 6 p.m. from YMCA Camp Greenville on 100 YMCA Camp Road in Greenville County.

Officials said Yarborough was found safe Friday morning, but have not said where he was found.

Multiple agencies searched for him through the night Thursday and continued their efforts the next morning.
