MORGANTON, N.C. — Authorities in Morganton are investigating after they said a 4-year-old boy wandered away from his home on Red Bud Drive and was found later in a neighbor's pool.
Authorities said the child, who had autism, drowned in the pool at the home on Maplewood Drive.
Investigators told Channel 9's Dave Faherty that more information will be released on Friday.
