BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A man accused of a deadly shooting near Hickory appeared before a judge in Burke County on Monday morning.
Kenneth Potter was charged with murder after deputies say a man was shot in the chest along River Rock Road.
A caller at the home told 911 that there had been a fight before the deadly shooting.
Deputies say their investigation is ongoing and they hope to release more details soon.
