ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — A 20-year-old woman was arrested and charged in a stabbing that happened over the weekend, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office stated.
Deputies were called to the Stony Point area early Sunday after a reported stabbing.
Marissa Renee Doby was charged with:
- Felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury
- Misdemeanor for crime of domestic violence
- Misdemeanor for resisting an officer
Doby is being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a 48-hour hold.
