UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled for 2-year-old NC boy

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — Police in Sampson County have canceled an AMBER Alert for a 2-year-old boy who they say has been abducted by a 39-year-old woman.

Officials said Jeremiah Hughes was abducted by Alison Naylor Robinson.

Jeremiah is described as 3 feet tall, weighing 60 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and police said he was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with brown sleeves and a picture of a pirate on the front with blue swimming shorts.

Alison Naylor Robinson was described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said they were last seen at 8056 U.S. 421 North, in Sampson County, N.C. They are possibly heading to 151 Beverly Street in central South Carolina. They could be traveling in a brown 2001 Buick Century with S.C. license tag number KHX-728.
