The team was minutes away from boarding the bus Saturday for the playoffs but learned they wouldn’t be going because another team broke the rules.
Legion Collegiate Academy in Rock Hill played with an ineligible player and had to forfeit games, which changed the regional standings, dropping Buford from the postseason.
