CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said a woman was robbed at gunpoint and carjacked late Sunday night at an uptown Charlotte gas station.

The incident happened right before midnight at the Mobile gas station on West Trade Street near Wesley Heights Way.
According to police, the driver was inside the store when a man forced her passenger out and took off in her 2014 silver Chevy Malibu.
Officers are still searching for the suspect and the car.
Channel 9 is asking investigators if surveillance cameras captured the incident.
