Arrest made, police looking for second suspect accused of robbing 5 Charlotte McDonald’s

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a second suspect accused of robbing five Charlotte McDonald’s.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Michael Webb on March 27 and are looking for 23-year-old Jeremy Thrasher.

Police charged Webb with five counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, five counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, nine counts of second-degree kidnapping and breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Authorities said Webb and Thrasher are accused of the following robberies:

  • Dec. 23, 2019 - McDonald’s on Eastway Drive. The two men threatened an employee with a gun and stole property from the victims and business.
  • March 23 - McDonald’s on Steele Creek Road. Both men threatened someone standing outside of the restaurant with a gun and stole from the victim.
  • March 24 - McDonald’s on Beatties Ford Road. A suspect threatened an employee with a firearm and stole items from the victim and business.
  • March 25 - McDonald’s on Meridian Center Drive. A suspect threatened an employee with a gun and demanded money.
  • March 25 - McDonald’s on Northlake West Drive. Two men threatened an employee with a firearm and then stole from the restaurant.
