Couple charged for making meth in vehicle

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Police charged two people with making meth inside a car on Interstate 77 in Iredell County.

Officers pulled Scott Delaney and Carla Everhart over for not staying in their lane in Statesville, and found meth and ingredients to make more meth using the shake-and-bake method.

There were also pipes and hypodermic needles in the vehicle.

Both of them are in the Iredell County Detention Center and are each under a $350,000 bond.
