Authorities searching for escaped Lincolnton inmate

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Authorities are looking for an inmate they say escaped the Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincolnton.

The Department of Adult Correction says Roy Burgess got out Sunday afternoon.

Burgess was serving time for larceny.

Authorities said he has the letters B, N and G tattooed on his neck. They believe he is in Dallas or Gastonia.
