CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Police say they found dozens of marijuana plants in a south Charlotte home, and there may have been a baby inside, too.
Police charged Jenna Woodring and Michael Graham. They may be married.
Officers said they got a tip and went to the suspects' house on Watercrest Road.
When officers knocked, Woodring answered the door. According to arrest records, officers smelled marijuana, and they asked to go inside, but someone told them they couldn't because a baby was sleeping inside. It's not clear if the suspects actually have a child.
Eventually, officers said they did go in and that they found more than 30 marijuana plants in two rooms, complete with an irrigation system and grow lamps.
Neighbor Alicia Hamilton said, "It's a very quiet neighborhood. Nothing ever really goes on here. We don't know them. Never seen them. Very quiet. Keep to themselves. Very surprising."
