Bentley taps into Charlotte's luxury auto scene with new showroom

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Luxury automaker Bentley’s new Charlotte showroom is open for business.

That roughly 55,000-square-foot facility marks the brand’s latest North American franchise — and makes it the exclusive Bentley dealer for western North Carolina and most of South Carolina, says Jon Ball, manager of Bentley Charlotte.

It is located at 400 Tyvola Road, just off of Interstate 77 in close proximity to south Charlotte and the airport.

“I think Charlotte is a great market with the growth,” Ball says. “I think this is going to appeal to a new set of buyers.”

About $4 million was invested to convert the space — formerly a Jaguar dealership — into a home for Bentley and create additional service capacity, Ball says.
