CONNELLY SPRINGS, N.C. — The Burke County Narcotics Task Force arrested two men on drug-related charges after searching their homes Wednesday in Connelly Springs, officials said.
The task force had been investigating activity of narcotics usage, sales and distribution at the two homes on Old Blue Ridge Lane and obtained search warrants.
The task force paired with other law enforcement agencies to search the homes and found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, firearms and cash.
Officials arrested Shuelong Vang, 26, and Tong Xeng Yang Koa Moua, 38, and placed them in the Burke Catawba District Confinement Facility.
Additional charges may be pending, police said.
