CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds announced Friday that it’s bringing in a new, multimillion-dollar dinosaur exhibit.
The exhibit is called Dinosaurs Alive, and will be the largest animatronic dinosaur park in the Southeast. It will feature 32 moving, roaring dinosaurs and will stretch across five acres.
“It’s part of our plan to include more family events and to make the park a little more exciting for younger children as well as the older ones who come for our roller coasters,” said spokeswoman Julie Whitted.
Dinosaurs Alive will open next spring. For more information, click here.
