CONCORD, N.C. — Crews are on the scene of a gas leak near Concord Mills.
Officials said workers with Google Fiber hit a gas line while working Wednesday morning on Hunters Creek Court.
There was no danger to the homes in the area.
Charlotte Fire Department crews told Channel 9 that the Google Fiber crew said their technology told them their drill was at a depth where it wouldn’t hit the line, but it did.
