Charlotte Checkers bring playoff action to Bojangles Coliseum

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Checkers have clinched a spot in the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs.

After finishing as the three seed in the Atlantic Division, the Checkers will face the sixth-place Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the first round of the playoffs at Bojangles Coliseum.

Game 1 in the best-of-three series is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. Game 2 is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. A potential third game would be Friday at 7 p.m.

The Checkers’ win against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday guaranteed they would get home ice advantage.

Charlotte ended the season with a three-game winning streak.
