CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Families were able to get Easter baskets and even new coats for children Sunday afternoon at the New Outreach Christian Center in Charlotte.
The pastor of the church said it’s important to give to others, especially during the times we’re living in.
The church also provided hot meals, groceries and travel kits.
“If you want to feel better, if you want things to get better, give sow into somebody’s life, give a king word, do something nice, and those good deeds will come back and make you feel better,” the church’s pastor, Brenda Stevenson, said.
The New Outreach Christian Center said it has been hosting the giveaway for more than 20 years now.
