CHARLOTTE — The ‘Get Year in Gear’ 5K, hosted by the Charlotte Colon Cancer Coalition, came back to the city this Saturday.
Dozens of people put on their sneakers and headed to First Ward Park on East 7th Street at 7:30 a.m.
With fourteen years of sponsorship from Charlotte Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the race brings in funds that stay in the community for education and providing care to those in need.
