CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A Charlotte couple married for 77 years won a contest for the longest married couple in the state.
Daniel and Willie Williams said the secret to a long marriage was “clean living.”

Worldwide Marriage Encounter, a faith-based marriage enrichment program, held the submission-based contest for the longest married couple.
The organization offers workshops to help couples develop a strong, Christian marriage.
