CHARLOTTE — Charlotte FC will kick off its inaugural season on Saturday when the club travels to Washington to take on D.C. United.
One of the team’s official supporters groups, Mint City Collective, is inviting fans to watch the match at Salud Beer Shop in NoDa.
The game will be shown on the bar’s televisions, plus the projector upstairs.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.

Channel 9 is the official TV partner for Charlotte FC and will broadcast the game on Saturday if you can’t make the watch party.
The game will also be shown on TV64, and a Spanish broadcast will be shown on Telemundo Charlotte.
The first home match at Bank of America Stadium is set for March 5 against the LA Galaxy.
