CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An improved team with legitimate hopes of snapping a 5-year playoff drought is boosting TV viewership for Charlotte Hornets games at the same time the NBA team’s broadcast partner has a new name.
Say hello to Bally Sports Southeast and Bally Sports South, formerly known as Fox Sports Southeast and Fox Sports South. The Atlanta-based sister networks are both distributed throughout seven Southern and Southeastern states, including North Carolina and South Carolina.
Hornets ratings this season have more than doubled compared to last year — and are up slightly from two seasons ago.
