CHESTER, S.C. — A Chester police officer is accused of inappropriately touching a woman.
Officer James “Jimmy” Johnson was arrested in Union, South Carolina for inappropriately touching the woman in a restaurant, according to Chester Police Chief Eric Williams.
Williams confirmed Wednesday that Johnson has been fired from the department.
Union County deputies said Johnson was intoxicated during the incident.
Johnson is charged with third-degree assault.
