CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred near Autumn Frost Trail in northeast Charlotte on Tuesday.

It happened in The Retreat at Camden Commons neighborhood. The initial call came out shortly before noon.
CMPD said there is no danger to the public.
The police chief is expected to give an update this afternoon.
