CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — The intersection in Cleveland County where Highway 74 meets North Academy Street and Lattimore Road in Mooresboro will close on Wednesday.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is installing an interchange in hopes of improving traffic.
The intersection will be closed for a year while crews build a new bridge over Highway 74.
There will be signs up for detours.
