CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the person who they said shot a man at a busy convenience store in northwest Charlotte late Tuesday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. at a mini-mart on South Hoskins Road, near Rozzelles Ferry Road.
Customers told Channel 9 someone robbed the victim before shooting him, but police couldn't confirm that.
Officers could be seen centering their investigation around a car in front of the store and they were also questioning two of the victim's friends, who they say were in that car with the victim when he was shot.
Officials have not said how serious the victim's injuries are.
