CMPD searches for 2 after rental car company robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for two armed men they said robbed a rental car company in north Charlotte.

Police said the two men entered Hertz Rental Car Company on North Tryon Street on Nov. 19 and demanded money from the employees.

The robbers fled on foot with the money, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos from the robbery.

The first robber is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall with medium build.  He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and jeans.

The second robber was described by police as a black man, about 6 feet tall also with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
