Cocktail concept to launch at Camp North End this summer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A cocktail concept is rolling into Camp North End, with an anticipated opening date in June.

Black Moth Bars, a Charlotte-based mobile specialty bartending company, will be parking its renovated vintage Airstream camper at Camp North End’s Boileryard on Friday nights to serve up seasonal cocktails on site, according to a news release.

Founded in 2018 by Rachel Hopkins and James Little, Black Moth Bars specializes in providing hand-crafted, locally sourced specialty cocktails at weddings, corporate parties and other events.

It expects to open at Camp North End in mid- or late June if the state’s phased reopening proceeds as planned.
