CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Work is expected to start this week on a 205-unit apartment complex at the N.C. Music Factory and should take about 18 months to complete.
The Music Factory will be seeing more construction next month as a software company begins work on a new headquarters there. There will also be retail shops and a 150-room hotel.
These projects are part of a long-term goal to make the Music Factory a live, work, play environment.
The entire complex is expected to be up and running within the next two years.
