VIRGINIA — The Virginia medical examiner's officer has confirmed two elite FBI agents were killed during a fall while training.
The men were taking part in a large-scale anti-terrorism drill near Virginia Beach.
The helicopter they were in had problems and they fell to the ground, official said.
The agents were part of the same unit that rescued a 5-year-old Alabama boy earlier this year.
Jimmy Lee Dykes kidnapped the child from a school bus then kept him locked in an underground bunker for several days.
The FBI squad got into the bunker, killed Dykes and saved the boy.
