BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — Burke County officials are looking into a crash that brought down power lines Monday night.
It happened along Highway 18, near Port Street, just south of Morganton.
Images from the scene show at least two vehicles involved — a pickup truck that hit a trailer and a white car in the ditch. The crash knocked down several power lines in the area as well.
Channel 9 is asking if the drivers were hurt and if anyone will face charges.
