CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies said they are investigating a homicide in Chesterfield County Saturday evening.
Officers said around 5:30 p.m., they were called to Crossroad Church Road in Mount Croghan for reports of a shooting.
Officials said once they got to the scene, they found Charles Noble Jr., 47, who has been shot in the chest lying on the road.
Noble was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies said they have a suspect in custody who is being interviewed. They believe the shooting was domestic-related.
