ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A man was shot in the leg after a dispute with a neighbor in Rowan County, deputies say.
Authorities responded to the call around 10 p.m. Saturday on Mount Hope Church Road near Salisbury.
Dusty Bryant, 35, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies said a neighbor, Joshua Harrington, 26, allegedly was shining a light on Bryant's property. Bryant and his wife went to confront Harrington when the shooting occurred.
Deputies said they seized a .380-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and one magazine for evidence from Harrington, along with several shell casings collected from the scene.
The shooting remains under investigation.
