CHARLOTTE — MPV Properties is hoping to begin vertical construction next year on a second phase of the RedStone development in Indian Land, assuming its approval process goes according to plan.

Mike Bilodeau, development manager for MPV, said the Charlotte developer had always planned for RedStone to be a two-phased project. Now, MPV is moving on trying to secure approvals for rezoning, site plans and a development agreement with Lancaster County to add to its mixed-use development at S.C. Highway 160 and U.S. Highway 521. MPV is planning to add around 350 apartments, 20 for-rent townhomes and 24,000 square feet of retail space to the project.
