LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — The suspected driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed an 83-year-old woman turned himself in.
Investigators told Channel 9’s Tina Terry that 21-year-old Elyjah Sowell surrendered on Friday.
The crash happened last Tuesday on Highway 531 near Pine Ridge in Kershaw.
Cresteen Miller died.
