Drugs, cash, and guns found in Lancaster County home

Deputies with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office say they found a significant number of guns along with drugs and cash while serving a search warrant at a home on Fork Hill Road just north of Kershaw.

Pictures provided by the sheriff's office show assault-style rifles, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns, cocaine, marijuana, heroin, hydrocodone, and nearly $2,000 in cash.

Three people were arrested. 26-year-old of Leonard King Jr, 34-year-old Brandon Lee Payne, and 27-year-old Megan Melissa Woodward face drug trafficking and weapons charges.

“Our Drug Task Force is out there every day watching, listening, and building cases like this,” said Sheriff Barry Faile.  “Their efforts have resulted in the disruption of several major drug operations over the last few weeks, and we intend to keep at it.”
