UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Crews blocked lanes Wednesday on outbound Independence Boulevard in Indian Trail after a Fed-Ex truck went into a ditch.
Troopers said the driver was getting close to the intersection with Unionville-Indian Trail Road around 1:30 a.m. when the light turned yellow.
The driver hit the brakes and the back of the truck slid.
The truck went off the side of the road.
The driver's not hurt, but it took hours to get the truck out of the ditch.
