Fire breaks out near downtown Maiden, N.C.

MAIDEN, N.C. — Police said there is a large fire near the downtown area of Maiden, North Carolina.

Police said an air conditioner repair shop on Cemetery Street is on fire.

Channel 9's Dave Faherty said smoke can be seen for miles.

Chopper 9 is on the scene.
