Chimney fire to blame after Tega Cay home goes up in flames, investigators say

TEGA CAY, S.C. — Four fire departments responded to a house fire Monday afternoon on Windward Drive in Tega Cay.

Chopper 9 flew over the scene and could see the flames raging from the home.

Nobody was hurt and investigators told Channel 9 that a fire in the Chimney was to blame.

The house, which was valued between $200,000 and $300,000, was deemed a total loss.
