HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — According to the Huntersville Fire Department, two people were hurt in a crash early Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after noon, firefighters responded to a crash on Gilead Road near Ranson Road. Upon arrival, they located two vehicles that were heavily damaged.
Two people were transported to a local hospital by MEDIC. Their injuries were non-life-threatening.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area due to significant traffic impacts.
