HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Emergency crews raced to extinguish a business fire in the 400 block of Gilead Road in Huntersville Wednesday night.

Flames were seen coming from the Riccobene Family Dentistry building when the fire broke out at about 9:30 p.m.
Gilead Road was closed down during the fire.
About one hour later, Huntersville Fire tweeted that “interior crews are making excellent progress inside.”
By 10:45 p.m., Tower 1 was mopping up hot spots from above.
The dentistry was scheduled to open on June 7, according to its website.

No one was taken to the hospital, MEDIC said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
