The first four ballots of the 2026 midterm elections in North Carolina have been cast.
Records show all four were Democratic ballots. One was from a Banner Elk man living in Toronto, Canada.

The other three were cast as Cary residents living in Luxembourg, France and Tucson, Arizona.
In person early voting starts Feb. 12.
