MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Flags are being placed in Charlotte to mark the number of drivers charged with DWI in Mecklenburg County in 2012 -- there were more than 4,200.
It's to mark the beginning of alcohol awareness month.
The flags will be put up outside the Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center on Randolph Road in southeast Charlotte and at UNC Charlotte.
