FORECAST:
- We can expect a decent start for Sunday before rain moves in with temperatures in the upper-50s.
- Showers will linger on and off throughout the next several days.
- The mountain areas will see rain first.
- Rain won’t move into the Charlotte area until later tonight. It will become more steady overnight into Monday morning.
- There have been 5.30 inches of rain so far this month. The average is about 2.50 inches.
- Temperatures are expected to be mild but trend cooler toward the end of the week.
Clouds are already working their way back into the area this morning. Only the mountains get the rain this morning, but a few showers do come into the metro later today and steadier rain arrives overnight into early Monday.
