Former Gaston Co. teacher rejects plea deal in sex crimes case

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A former Gaston County teacher decided not to plead guilty to sex crimes against a student.

The Gaston Gazette reported Bradford Mulkey rejected the offer Monday.

Mulkey is accused of sexual battery involving a female student last year.

He resigned from East Gaston High School after the administration learned about the allegations.
